Ritzy has a sweet and protective temperament. As the oldest of our pets she maintains her presence as the pack leader. She is very intelligent and was easy to train for walks and to go to the potty.
She is very mild mannered and very polite with strangers but not timid, she will allow herself to be pet by strangers and enjoys the company of dogs she has never met previously.
She will alert us if a stranger pulls up in their car but not overly so.
Ritzy is an F1 50/50 Bernese-Poodle mix with a Merrill coat of white, grey and brown. She weighs 28 lbs and looks like a small Bernese!
As with all Bernese-Poodle mix's she does not inherit the Bernese predisposition for cancer with the benefit of also inheriting a soft non-shedding, hypoallergenic coat.
She has been screened and cleared of all genetic disorders common to any canine breed and has had all of her immunizations.
She's has had several healthy litters with no adverse issues and is a wonderful mother!
We are proud to have her in our home and she looks after us just as much as we look after her.
